The first thing you do is do a search on Google and you find an advert that you take an interest in. When you click on the advert, you are taken to a website which gives you information about the company and its products.

The website offers you many “generic type” information that is about the Network Marketing Company, and most of the information concerns the merchandise they sell.
However, there is no information about the people you would be working with, if you did choose to join. There’s nothing about how you would build your business or about the people with whom you would work. Furthermore, there is no place to ask for more information about how you would advertise this business.
You’ve heard of the company and the products before, and would like to partner with that company. However…. you are looking to join a sponsor who will assist you. And no information is available on this website about how you can actually grow the business.
Over the past year, you’ve dealt with some Network Marketing Companies. However, you were unable to work out how to market them successfully.
You continue searching on Google and you find another advertisement about some training in the marketing system. You click on that one.
When you click on the second advert…
At the beginning of the web page, there is a bit of an introduction and this will tell you that you can get some free training that will guide you on how to marketing online.
On the page, you will find a video of someone telling you how they are going to send you training for free every day, showing you what you need to advertise a network marketing business online.
To the right of the video, is a small form asking you to write your name and details. It goes on to say that once you write your details, they will be sending you the free marketing training.
You think to yourself, “this is excellent, now I can know what to do before actually partnering with a company and purchasing their products”. You sign up for the information and you’re now happy to have another person show you how to go about it.
There are still lots of time to look for a company and products that you like. And when you find them, you will have inkling of how to do the marketing. If you are searching for a new Network Marketing business, which types of websites would you like to find?
Number 1 or Number 2?
The web page in advert number 2 is called a “lead capture page”, and internet marketers use to get names and details of people who are interested in what they have to present.
The number one thing that an internet marketer can do is to build a list of individuals who are interested in what they have to offer. Alternatively you can market a “lead capture page” instead of marketing your company website where you offer something of value to anyone who signs up.
A “lead capture page” is a very clear web page that has a header at the top showing people what you are offering them. It can contain a video and it is better to use your own video, explaining what you have to give people and what they will gain from it.
Another thing that your lead capture page should have is a form where someone can put in their details like emails. This is extremely important.
Marketing a lead capture page has HUGE advantages and some of them are:
- Get people that you can sell your offers and your opportunity in the near future and build that list.
- Follow up message that are sent to the list will not only brand you but the people on your list will get to know you. If the prospect is searching for a business to join, they will most probably partner with you because you’ve given them value, and proved to them that you’re a leader.
- Individuals will want to buy from you if they get to know you, like and trust you making this your biggest asset.
- When you promote your company’s website and some people who click on the advert don’t join or buy the products, have you ever asked yourself what happens to all those people.
There is a high probability that they are gone and never go to the site again.
The number of people you will “lose” when you promote a lead capture page will not be many. Since a number of them have filled out your form, you will have a chance carry on developing your relationship with them.
